A 23 year old Middletown, New York man, Gionni Sellers, has been indicted for the brutal beating of a helpless toddler, Xavier Johnson, after he allegedly became angry that the child’s mother befriended an ex on social media

A 23 year old Middletown, New York man has been indicted for the brutal beating of a helpless toddler after he allegedly became angry that the child’s mother befriended an ex on social media.

In court today, prosecutors revealed that 23-year-old Gionni Sellers had extensive search history on his phone where he went on the Internet to look up the effects of child abuse and what to do when a toddler is injured or not breathing.

Sellers has been accused of killing his girlfriend’s son Xavier Johnson. He was just three years old. The incident occurred on June 2 , 2022 when the little boy was discovered to be unresponsive and not breathing. He was found in his toddler bed that was located in his mom’s living room at the time of death. His mom was at work at the time.
