There are reportedly no records of Russian couple Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus entering or leaving Malaysia, with the Immigration Department.

A source told Utusan Malaysia, that the CCTV footage at Merdeka 118 did not capture them.

They say, this increases suspicions that the couple are not in Malaysia.

The source adds, authorities called 9 individuals, including the tower’s staff and workers to assist in the probe.

The couple’s video is also undergoing forensic analysis at Cybersecurity Malaysia.

Earlier today, Angela Nikolau posted on her Twitter that her NFT of her Merdeka 118 climb sold for 7.69 Ethereum.

Based on current Coinbase conversion rates, that is equivalent to approximately US$9,739, or RM42,859.
