Three persons were shot after stopping to pick up hitchhikers on the N2 in KwaZulu-Natal on Monday afternoon, and one person has since died as a result.
The incident happened on the N2 southbound just before the Tongaat toll-gate.
The armed suspects allegedly fled the crime scene after the incident leaving 1 person dead and 2 other with gunshot wounds, the wounded were then stabilised by IPSS Medical advanced life-support team
