Texas teacher, attacked a student which resulted in the student being in ER with multiple injuries.
According to Fox 26, a teacher at Humble High School, in Humble, Texas is currently on leave, after a video revealed the teacher attacking a 10th-grade student on Wednesday. The parents of the student say their son was left limping, on crutches, bruised, and with significant swelling and had to be taken to the Emergency Room.
The video shows the teacher slamming the student to the ground and turning a table, then holding him against a wall as students rushed and tried to pull them apart.
“You see the students trying to get the teacher off of him, and he’s steady yelling why are you putting your hands on me. Then the teacher slams him on the ground and the teacher gets on top of him,” the student’s father, Elvert Bolden, said during an interview with Fox 26.
“This should not have happened. It is unacceptable. The teacher has been put on leave. An investigation is underway, and it is unlikely he will be returning when the investigation concludes,” Humble ISD said in a press release.
The teacher’s identity hasn’t been released to the public. Police are currently investigating the attack. Neighbors, what are your thoughts?
