Man Allegedly stole funeral home car to get to his babyshower.

A Georgia man allegedly swiped a mortuary van while fleeing cops and a corpse rolled out of the back — prompting a police hunt to find him, authorities said Thursday.

A cadaver strapped to a gurney went sailing out of the unhatched back of the vehicle — and into a crematory parking lot in Conyers on Wednesday night when Kijon Griffin, 23, allegedly hit the gas, according to police.

He allegedly ran into a wooded area and escaped police, including officers using dogs to track him.

Griffin was still at large Thursday, according to cops, who are offering a cash reward for information leading to his arrest.

He faces charges including entering automobile, motor vehicle theft and attempting to elude police.

Officers said law enforcement pursued the suspect in a chase that expanded from Conyers city limits to DeKalb County. The vehicle was disabled just before Wesley Chapel Road on I-20 after the driver allegedly hit multiple cars. They said a tire blew out on the van.

The suspect then allegedly got out of the vehicle and ran in to the wooded area between Panola Road and Wesley Chapel Road.

Other agencies helped search for the suspect. However, he was not located.

The 23-year-old man is now wanted for several felonies.
