Warrant of arrest issued for missing alleged child sex ring kingpin
A warrant for arrest had been issued for alleged child sex ring kingpin, Gerhard Ackerman who has gone missing, contravening his bail conditions.
Ackerman, 52, failed to appear in the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg for his trial on Thursday due to illness and did not submit a medical certificate by Friday.
The investigating team then visited his home and found he had moved out and sold all his belongings, according to the NPA.

He is facing 740 charges including unlawful possession of child porn, rape, human trafficking and sexual grooming of a minor.
