After the shocking finale of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, a potential season 2 could look to introduce even more Smith couples to expand the world of the show. Season 1 shows three Smith couples. Donald Glover and Maya Erskine play the main John and Jane Smith, but there are the “extremeley high-risk” Smiths played by Wagner Moura and Parker Posey, and the Smiths who only appear in the first episode. There could be many more Johns and Janes in the world, and a potential Mr. & Mrs. Smith season 2 could focus on a completely new couple.

Donald Glover isn’t the only connection between Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Atlanta. Hiro Murai directed episodes 1 and 2 of the spy show, and Stephen Glover is credited as a co-writer on episode 5.
