One person has been injured following a petrol explosion on the N1 North near Malibongwe and William Nicol Drive.
Paramedics say the person sustained moderate injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Authorities still on scene following an earlier crash involving a tanker, which was carrying a flammable liquid, and a silver sedan. All lanes on the N1 north remain closed while traffic has begun flowing on the south bound lanes.
