Businessman Adam Radlan pleads not guilty to 2 more graft charges for soliciting RM4.1mil linked to the Jana Wibawa initiative.




Adam was accused of soliciting RM2mil from Lian Tan Chua to help Nepturis Sdn Bhd secure a govt project in Klang worth RM141mil. Businessman Adam Radlan pleaded not guilty and claimed trial at the KL Sessions Court to two counts of graft in relation to the Jana Wibawa programme. 


Adam is accused of soliciting between 3.5% and 7% of an RM47.8 road works project from MIE Infrastructure & Energy Sdn Bhd.


The money is said to be an inducement to help the company obtain an acceptance letter for the project under the programme. 


The Segambut Bersatu chief was also charged with receiving RM500,000 in bribes from the company to secure the road works project in Perlis.


He faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and a fine of no less than five times the solicited amount or RM10,000, whichever is higher, if found guilty under the MACC Act. 


The court set bail at RM120,000 in two sureties and ordered him to surrender his passport.
