Minister Dr. Motsoaledi is unhappy with the Pretoria High Court order directing Home Affairs to grant asylum to 22 Afghan nationals that are reportedly being hunted by the Notorious Talibans.
He says a certain American NGO is attempting to undermine and ambush SA’s sovereignty.
The order was issued on Friday after lawyers representing a United States-based NGO approached the court on behalf of the 22 Afghan nationals.
The minister of home affairs Dr Motsoaledi says government will be opposing the court order.
