Drake is thinking of making an exit out of the rap game.

He’s arguably one of the biggest rappers in the game and has one of the largest followings in the entire music industry.

However, he’s suggested that he’s started planning to bow out while still on top.

Drake said: “I think I’m at the point now where I just wanna, like — I feel like maybe, we talked about this the other day, but I feel like I’m kind of introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit.”

Now, a ‘graceful exit’ could mean a whole host of things.

It could be a graceful exit from the place he was at that time, a graceful exit from the interview he was in…it could be anything.

It could even be a stunt to get more people to tune into the podcast to see whether Drake elaborates on what he’s saying.

The rest of the interview drops on Friday, February 24, so you’ll we could be getting answers pretty soon.

“‘A Moody Conversation’,” he wrote when captioning the teaser on his own Instagram channel. “Me interviewing my best friend drizzy drake for my sunglass company @futuremoodstudios. Fll interview tmmr.”

Sad as fans would be to see the Toronto-born Grammy winner retire from music, it’s hard to argue that the man doesn’t deserve it after working so hard for most of his life.

It’s even harder to argue that someone as dialled-in as Drake would legitimately consider retiring (at least permanently) ever.

Whether you like his music or not, it’s an undeniable fact that Drake has been at the top of the rap game for at least the last decade. From countless awards to hella meme-able moments: the 6 Gawd’s impact on music and culture is one that enviable and could probably be dissected in a variety of ways.

But, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. So if we are about to say goodbye to rapper Drake and hello to whatever his next evolution is, then I guess he’s earned it.
