75-yr-old grandmother arrested for s£tting her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren abl@ze over food in Ondo
The police in Ondo State have arrested a 75-year-old grandmother, identified as Iforiti Oloro, for allegedly s£tting her son, Victor Oloro; his wife, Rachael; and their children, Toluwani and Blessing, abl@ze.
It was gathered that septuagenarian who lives in the same compound with her son and his family, woke up in the middle of the night and allegedly s£t the house on f¥re while the family was asleep.
She was said to have confessed she that she b¥rnt her son and his family because they were st@rving him.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the Aponmu community, a village on the outskirts of Akure, the state capital.
The victims were rushed to the Federal Medical Hospital Owo, where the man, his wife and one of the children sadly passed away.
“Unfortunately, we lost the last grandchild, who was just two and a half years old, immediately we got to Owo. The woman’s son and his wife di£d on Sunday, while the only grandchild left is also in critical condition,” a source said.
