This man had no idea he was sitting next to Rainn Wilson on the airplane while he was watching “The Office”

A Delta passenger glued to an episode of “The Office” had no idea his seatmate was none other than famed paper salesman Dwight Schrute himself.

Actor Rainn Wilson, 57, who portrayed the socially awkward Dunder Mifflin employee on the hit NBC sitcom, secretly filmed the unsuspecting fellow traveler, People reported.

Wilson looked nothing like his character on the show, where he sported middle-parted hair, glasses and a mustard-colored shirt.

While seated in business class, he was wearing a cap and a surgical mask, but was without his trademark spectacles, so it is unlikely his neighbor would have recognized him.

Schrute — the assistant to regional manager Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell — appeared on the small screen several times as Wilson looked on in amusement.

Wilson shared a video of the funny incident, writing, “When the person sitting next to you has no idea who you are.”

The actor, who most recently appeared in “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,” will soon embark on a publicity tour for his new book, “Soul Boom: Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution.” The book covers humanity’s “need for profound healing and a unifying understanding of the world that the great spiritual traditions provide,” according to the official synopsis..
