Baby sneaks through White House fence with ease. Secret Service found him on the lawn.

The Secret Service rushed to intercept a pint-sized intruder at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Tuesday after a toddler squeezed through the White House fence.

The breach happened on the north side of the highly secured property, while President Biden was inside the executive mansion, according to his public schedule.

Access to the White House complex was restricted during the commotion. President Biden was on the property at the time of the pint-sized perimeter breach.

The parents of the child were questioned and sent on their way with the trespassing tot in tow.

The White House fencing is roughly 13 feet tall after recently being nearly doubled in height. The toddler is likely the first person to successfully intrude onto White House property since then.

Officers walked across the North Lawn to pick up the little boy and bring him back to his parents, who they briefly interrogated before allowing them to continue on.

The unidentified tot may have been the first person to get through the White House’s new 13-foot tall fences, which were installed in recent years after several breaches.

Although the new fences are taller, they feature an additional inch between posts — giving the tiny trespasser 5½ inches of space to work with.

The Secret Service did not immediately make a public statement on the matter. It may be the first successful intrusion onto the complex since the White House fence was doubled in height to roughly 13 feet (3.96-meters) in recent years after a series of security breaches. While taller, the new fence has an additional inch of space between pickets, for a total of 5½ inches (12.7 centimeters) between posts.

Older children have sometimes become stuck in the iconic barrier, which has also been the scene of demonstrations, with protesters chaining themselves to the fence.

The Secret Service did not immediately have comment on the incident.
