Body burnt by Bester identified. 

The body that was burnt in Mangaung Prison by Thabo Bester is said to be that of Katlego Junior Mpholo, according to his father Batho Mpholo, who shared on his Twitter page. 

Batho said DNA test were conducted, its alleged that Katlego has been missing since March 2022.

Brigadier Athlenda Mathe confirmed that the charred body found in Besters cell (cel 35) has been identified following a direct match with the biological mother of the deceased and the family has been notified.

Information reads: “Rest In Peace to Katlego Bereng🕊.

Katlego was murdered & brought into jail, then his body burnt beyond recognition💔Dr Nandipha & Thabo Bester saw it fit to easily & cheaply end life of an innocent youth in order to live their evil life of crime.

Condolences to the Bereng family.”
