Steve Harvey explains what’s wrong with this young generation of men today asking women what they bring to the table.

Before becoming famous, Steve Harvey worked in multiple roles, including a boxer, mailman and autoworker. He currently makes about USD 45 million, but earlier he was not so financially stable. Moreover, his past marriages also ended in ugly divorces, which were emotionally and financially traumatising for the comedian. Here’s a look at his past marriages.

Steve and Marjorie first met in 1990 but lost contact shortly after that. Fate would however later bring them back together in 2005, 15 years after their first meeting. This time, there was no letting go. The pair soon started dating and barely two years into their romance, Steve proposed. On June 25, 2007, the pair got married in a beautiful ceremony. Since then, their love has only waxed stronger. And so when rumors start swirling, all the rumors start going around, all Marjorie and Steve have to do is remember that fate brought them together and their love story was, in fact, written in the stars.

In 1981, when Harvey struggled to make a name for himself, he married Marcia Harvey. He stayed away from his family as he worked to become an established comedian. This struggle eventually led to a divorce, and the couple separated in 1994. The split was rumored to be the result of Harvey cheating on his wife and deserting her when she was expecting their third child.

Marcia Harvey, however, stayed away from the gossip mills. Since her split, she has published a few books and lives a low-key life.

With seven kids and several grandkids between them, Steve and Marjorie sure have a lot on their hands. It is therefore really no surprise that the couple has little time to tend to rumors and speculation. Of their seven kids, Steve has four whom he welcomed from his previous marriages to Mary Lee Harvey and Marcia Harvey while Marjorie shares three kids with ex-husband Darnell Woods. Amazingly, despite the biological differences, Marjorie and Steve have been able to create a perfect blended situation with their kids. Need we say that we love how beautiful this family is.
