According to the tweet from MUTLeaks, multi-platform patch data branches have been removed from this year’s game. This means the patches that update content, rosters, and more are now divided into two branches, gen four and gen five. Ultimately, the patch data for the current generation of consoles will go solely to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC because they will support cross-platform play.

Electronic Arts have already featured cross-play in other sports titles like FIFA 23 and NHL 23, but Madden has been a little behind the curve.
