YouTuber Dream, fearing the wrath of haters, retreats back into his mask-wearing cocoon and deletes his face reveal video.

Dream went on to show his face on camera in a video posted to YouTube on October 2, 2022 at 9:00 PM EST. “Hi, I’m Dream and this is what I look like,” the description explained. “After years of being completely faceless online, I finally decided to do a face reveal.” The content creator went on to say “thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate you all more than you could ever know.”

Several content creators close to Dream got to see his face a little bit earlier than his followers during a series of calls on FaceTime. Some of these people have apparently known Dream for years. “I FaceTimed Dream,” Karl Jacobs for example said. “Here’s my reaction to finally seeing one of my best friends’ faces for the first time!”

The Minecraft gamer, with 30 million subscribers online, only ever uses his voice in streams – albeit occasionally appearing on camera wearing a mask.

But all that looked set to change after his friends – and other YouTubers – posted videos apparently reacting to Dream without his mask.

He then posted a video revealing his face for the first time.
