Hassan Lok Sabha constituency, situated in the state of Karnataka, is a significant political stronghold known for its diverse demographic and historical influence in Indian politics. Represented by former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda multiple times, this constituency comprises the entire Hassan district and part of the Chikmagalur district.
The votes in Hassan were polled in the second phase, on April26, when its sitting MP Prajwal Revanna found himself entangled in an alleged sex-scandal case. There were total 13,48,966 voters in the constituency. Hassan Lok Sabha recorded the 77.68% voter turnout.
