Woman told to “call in professionals”after discovering creepy stairs under floor in house she’s lived in for 3 years.

I wonder if a medium has ever been called in and said ‘all fine, no ghosts here’. They do seem to be a little self-fulfilling when it comes to the presence of spooky things.

Many of the viewers seemed to take a similar view. One suggested that maybe a medium was the wrong profession, saying: “Call a plumber. We go under houses all the time.”

Another said: “I’m just curious, why would you get a medium for this?”

A third highlighted that ghosts might not be the main hazard here, saying: “That’s probably her survival instinct telling her to get off those sketchy ass stairs.”

TikTok user Julia Henning (@iamjuliahenning), who works as a relationship and conscious life coach, was cleaning her closet when she noticed something. She lifted up a floor door, revealing a spiral wooden staircase. She ended her first video by closing it.

Podcaster and life coach Julia Henning made a fascinating discovery under the stairs in her house.

In a video posted to TikTok, she revealed a previously unnoticed trapdoor under the stairs. When opened, it revealed a spiral staircase descending into a room underneath the house.

However, rather than being excited at having more space, many people on TikTok were less than enthused at the discovery.

@iamjuliahenning I was cleaning the closet and decided to invesitgate. This is what I found… should I go in?! #hauntedhouses #hauntedhouse #creepytiktok #creepyhouse #crawlspace #creepycrawlspace #hiddenhorror #scarystories #homediscovery #hauntedhollywood #ghosthunters #investigation #whatliesbeneath #barbarian #oldhousetiktok #hiddengems #docuseries ♬.”

In the second video, Henning wanted to give her 30,000 followers an update regarding the staircase. It was “not very stable.” As she walked a couple of steps, she was greeted with darkness. She now understood why her closet had a metal latch. She noted that she’s not a vlogger, and therefore prefers a professional explore the space.

There was also some writing which had been scrawled on the wall, saying someone’s name.

Honestly, with a damp course, deep clean, lick of paint, dehumidifier, and some nice lighting, it looked like it could be pretty cozy.

It wasn’t massive, but was big enough to stand up in and to put to some use.

You could convert it into a games room, a cool wine cellar, music room, or even a workshop.

Just make sure if you do wake up the vampire you at least say hi, as he gets a bit lonely.
