Kentucky man, Russell Pack, has been arrested for possession of child sexual abuse materials of children under the age of 12.
KSP obtained a search warrant for the owner of the cell phone, Russell Pack, 33, of Louisa. When they searched his phone, they found additional pornographic images of children under the age of 12.
According to the arrest report, Pack reportedly admitted downloading and viewing the images, but said he thought he had deleted them.
He was arrested and charged with 20 counts of possessing child porn, which carries a potential sentence of 5-to-10 years in prison.
Police took the equipment they believe was used in the case to the state forensic lab for investigation.
Pack is currently charged with 20 counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance.
He was taken to the Big Sandy Detention Center in Paintsville. A Lawrence County man has been arrested after a search of his phone turned up 20 images of child porn.
The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch received a report from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that someone with a Verizon phone had been uploading sexually explicit images of minors online.
