Manchester City want to sign Achraf Hakimi and will not hesitate to pay a huge fee for the Moroccan!

Born in Madrid, Hakimi came through the Spanish giants’ academy before making nine appearances following his debut in 2017. A two-year breakout loan spell with Borussia Dortmund followed, where the attacking full-back registered an impressive 12 goals and 17 assists from 73 games.

Inter Milan acquired his services in 2020 ahead of a big money move to the Parisians worth around £60m the next season.

In the French capital the Moroccan has continued to impress and has enjoyed a productive on-pitch partnership with Kylian Mbappe, as well as a friendship with his fellow superstar off it.

It’s therefore little surprise that as Mbappe seeks to pursue pastures new, Hakimi is set to become the latest high-profile name agitating for a move away from Paris.

According Mundo Deportivo, the defender is ‘not comfortable’ at the club, whose environment and atmosphere have left him seeking a route out.

City would unquestionably be an attractive proposition for the former Dortmund and Inter defender, but he is believed to prefer a return to Madrid alongside his current team-mate Mbappe.

New defenders are also at the top of Pep Guardiola’s agenda, especially as the futures of Aymeric Laporte, Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker are uncertain. The trio all have varying complaints about their lack of game time last season and might seek a summer move.

Should any of them depart then City will definitely need to strengthen their defensive options, which has led to links with Napoli’s Kim. The South Korea international increased his standing in the game significantly this past season after playing a crucial role in his side’s historic Serie A title win.

Fayza Lamari has a company that has none other than Kylian Mbappé but it is based on a relationship between a mother and her son and we have seen on the market the relationships of parents who become representatives.

It is unthinkable that someone like Achraf could have been sensitive to this.
