Liverpool are reportedly ready to pay €250M + €50M add ons to compete with Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappé!
That would make him the most expensive player in football history.
Neymar famously signed for PSG from Barcelona for a world record fee of €222m. In the same summer, PSG also signed Mbappe from Monaco for a fee that would reach €180m.
That makes Mbappe the second most expensive player of all time, but he could now become the number one if Marca are to be believed.
Mbappe has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past, with Jurgen Klopp known to be a huge fan of the 24-year-old.
Real Madrid favourites to sign Mbappe
However, a move to Liverpool would come as a big surprise as Mbappe is widely expected to join Real Madrid when he leaves PSG – possibly this summer.
Earlier this month, Mbappe told PSG that he doesn’t intend to trigger the option in his current contract – which expires in 2024 – of extending by a further year.
