A video of Bebe Rexha fan coming out as gay in front of her to his mother is currently going viral.
The In The Name of Love singer, who is still recovering from a black eye she received when she was hit by a phone, helped a fan live his truth in the clip which went viral on social media.
The 33-year-old hitmaker shared a video on social media of an emotional exchange with a young man who told her ‘I moved to Tennessee. My depression was at its worst, and Better Mistakes got me through…’ referring to Bebe’s 2021 album.
During an exchange with the mom, Bebe learned he was 18.
The teen quickly says, ‘I’m gonna do this in front of you.’
At this point Bebe’s security goes on alert, and steps a little closer to the singer.
“What are you gonna do in front of me?” asked the I’m Good artist asked.
‘I’m gay,’ the fan told his mom.
‘That’s fine. That’s absolutely fine. I still love you,’ she told her son.
Bebe quickly rewarded the fan for his bravery with a big hug as her body guard quietly stepped away.
‘Oh, my god, I’m so proud of you’ she told him. She added in the video, which has since been shared by fans via Twitter, “He’s gonna make me cry right now.”
The fan was accompanied by his mom, who said, “That’s my baby boy.” Rexha asked for his age, and he said he was 18 before declaring, “I’m gonna do this in front of you.”
“What are you gonna do in front of me?” asked the “I’m Good (Blue)” singer-songwriter.
“I’m gay,” said the fan, turning to his mom.
“That’s fine. That’s absolutely fine. I still love you,” she told her son, as Rexha pulled him in for a hug.
