Donald Trump will not be the only Republican Presidential candidate in legal jeopardy, as Ron DeSantis has landed himself in hot water in the face of new campaign finance violations.
The Florida governor made a trip to Texas, during which he threatened to trample part of the Constitution by ending birthright citizenship if he’s elected President. He also took a photo next to a helicopter owned by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
As innocuous as that may sound, Daily Beast writer Roger Sollenberger posited that “his use of Texas government resources for his own political purposes appears to constitute a campaign finance violation.”
