Portland hasn’t been impressed with Miami’s trade offers, per @wojespn.

The Blazers have no interest in Tyler Herro.

Herro is an efficient scorer from all three levels, and he’s shown the ability to be a solid ball-handler and secondary playmaker as well.

However, he hasn’t taken that leap forward, and his development kind of stalled after that impressive rookie season.

The Miami Heat are going to great lengths to try and acquire Damian Lillard.

Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra patiently waited until Lillard finally requested a trade, but it’s not like they have an appealing set of assets to offer for the multi-time All-Star. Any deal involving Herro would need to involve a third team given the Blazers’ reported lack of interest of him, Wojnarowski added.

The Blazers’ feelings on Herro have been made known earlier this summer. Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated reported that Portland was reportedly “lukewarm” on Herro, a four-year veteran who just averaged 20.1 points per game.

Plus, as Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer noted, Herro would be “redundant” for Portland. The Blazers already have three young guards to build around in Scoot Henderson (the No. 3 overall pick in this year’s NBA draft), Shaedon Sharpe and Anfernee Simons. The Blazers appear set to build around that backcourt trio with work to be done elsewhere on the court.

Moreover, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that the Blazers have been less than impressed with the offers they’ve gotten thus far, adding that they have no interest in Tyler Herro (via NBA Central).
