“It’s become a third world country” – Actor, Scott Baio, says he’s leaving California because Hollywood blacklisted him for supporting Trump, can’t find a job.

Everyone’s out to get Scott Baio. At least, according to Scott Baio.

The 59-year-old actor, who is perhaps best known for appearing on the sit-com Happy Days about 40 years ago, plus a handful of straight-to-DVD movies in more recent years, claims he has been the victim of an ongoing smear campaign. Basically, ever since he voiced his support for Donald Trump in 2016 and spoke at the Republican National Convention.

The couple is staying at a condo they own while their Bradenton house is being finished, Renee Baio confirmed to Herald-Tribune.

“I chose Manatee County for various reasons,” Renee told the Herald-Tribune. “It’s close to Anna Maria Island, Siesta Key, and I love the small town feel and values of Manatee County and I support mom-and-pop businesses and would like to keep them thriving.”

Last Wednesday, the “Happy Days” star announced he was moving his family out of California due to the state’s increasing homeless problem that “brings down property value” and called the state “just not a safe place anymore.”
