Jamie Lynn Spears’ memoir is selling for as low as $1.25 in bargain stores.
Jamie Lynn Spears’ memoir is being sold at dollar stores for a bargain $1.25 – it has been revealed, as her estranged sister Britney Spear’s upcoming autobiography has topped the worldwide book charts three months before its release.
The pop icon, 41, sent fans into a frenzy when she announced memoir The Woman In Me, which is scheduled to hit the shelves on October 24 – with the book becoming the number one bestselling ‘new release’ on the Amazon book charts.
However fans quickly began sharing snaps of 32-year-old Jamie Lynn’s 2022 memoir, Things I Should Have Said, at various Dollar General stores for $1.25.
On Tuesday, the “Toxic” singer announced the release of her new memoir, “The Woman In Me,” which will hit bookshelves on October 24, 2023. Preorders opened yesterday and it has already jumped to the top of Amazon’s bestseller list.
Fans of the pop star have been quick to take to social media after photos and videos of Jamie Lynn Spears’ memoir, “Things I Should Have Said,” were spotted in Dollar Stores around the country.
Last month DailyMail.com exclusively revealed Spears’ mom Lynne is ‘begging’ the pop princess to repair her fractured relationship with her younger sister Jamie Lynn – after the siblings became embroiled in a bitter and very public feud in amid the Toxic singer’s 13-year conservatorship.
The conservatorship, which saw Britney’s father Jamie handed control over her life, finances, and medical decisions, led to a serious rift within the Spears family and saw the popstar distancing herself from almost all of her close family members.
‘Lynne is begging Britney to make amends with her sister Jamie Lynn now,’ the insider shared. ‘They are both leaning towards a yes. Lynne knows that Britney does miss her sister and she told her that the feeling is obviously mutual.’
But, the source added, it’s going to take some convincing to bring Britney around to the idea of a truce with her estranged sister – and an apology from Jamie Lynn.
‘Britney still feels that Jamie Lynn is the one who messed up and, if they are going to meet, she would need to come to her and not vise versa,’ the source reveals, adding: ‘Lynne is figuring out now how to make this happen, but she is not going to rest until everything is perfect again.’
Before the release of Britney’s memoir, fans were already trolling Jamie Lynn online after an autographed edition of her book was found at the dollar store for only one dollar and twenty-five cents.
“Not Jamie Lynn Spears book at the dollar store,” they captioned the photo. One fan joked, “And no discount? $1.25 is a lot.”
