Dating rumors spark as Drake kissed Sexyy Red on stage and backstage at his show in Brooklyn.
Drake sparked romance rumors on Tuesday night by sharing a cozy photo with fellow rapper Sexyy Red to Instagram.
The hitmaker, 36 — who was spotted out with a mystery woman the night prior — was captured planting a kiss on the red-haired vixen’s cheek as they hung out in a club.
They were seated closely beside one another of a couch and Drake kept one arm wrapped around her for the photo.
Sexyy Red has catapulted into the mainstream this year off the strength of her breakthrough hit “Pound Town.” Back in May, Nicki Minaj hopped on a remix of the Tay Keith-produced track.
The St. Louis rapper spoke about “Pound Town” in a recent interview with Complex’s Eric Skelton, revealing it was the first song she ever freestyled.
“I was in the studio, just on some lazy stuff, and my people was like, ‘Come on, you got more songs to record,’” she shared. “And I’m like, ‘I ain’t got nothing wrote down, come on now.’ So I went in the booth, and this was my first time ever freestyling. I heard the beat and just started rapping from there. The whole thing was a freestyle.”
Over the weekend, Sexyy Red hopped on Twitter to clarify that she didn’t perform her hit song for the students, instead showing up to do some charity work for the school’s prom.
“Y’all do know I went there to give the boys money for they haircuts and girls bundles for prom week cause I remember when I needed help with my prom stuff,” she wrote.
Drake’s close friend Nicki Minaj later agreed to spit a verse on a remix of the song titled Pound Town 2.
Fans suspect that Drake may have shared Tuesday’s post to tease a potential collaboration between the pair.
Whether or not he and Sexyy Red are an item, Drake was caught out enjoying a night out with a busty mystery gal on Monday night.
Drake’s unidentified female companion supported him by watching his show earlier in the evening.
She was later spotted leaving the club with the Hotline Bling hitmaker and his entourage.
Drake’s love life is ever a mystery as just last month he appeared to suggest that he was dating singer Lilah Pi after he gushed about her in a birthday post.
‘More life to the gyal that’s impossible to duplicate,’ he wrote alongside a gorgeous photo of Lilah. ‘My inspo, my confidant, my best mate, my heart @lilahpi happy birthday.’
