A 21 year old girl in Brazil escaped a robbery because she had picture of BTS Jin in her cellphone.
— The Robber snatched her phone but when he saw JIN’s picture, he thought her boyfriend is in military and returned her phone and ran away.
Jin is the oldest member of BTS, currently serving his time in the South Korean military. He enlisted in December 2022 and has already completed six months out of the 18-month mandatory period. Jin released his solo song ‘Astronaut’ before he went on his military duty.
Other BTS members will follow suit too. Jin is a songwriter, singer of the supergroup. His tagline reads, ‘World Wide Handsome.’ Jin is known for his melodic voice and high notes amongst the group members. He had mentioned earlier that he entered the group wanting to be an actor.
According to Kim Yeon Ju, plans for the book began in 2019. Kang Myeong Seok had originally planned to spend about a year interviewing the seven BTS members, but those plans were quickly derailed following the unprecedented success of BTS’s English single “Dynamite.”
To celebrate the release of the book, Weverse Magazine released an exclusive interview with Kang Myeong Seok, Chief Editor of Weverse Magazine, who interviewed BTS and authored the book, and Kim Yeon Ju, the project manager and editor of HYBE’s publications.
In the interview, the two revealed how plans for the book completely changed after BTS released their first all-English song, “Dynamite.”
