Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Serwaa Amihere is officially a lawyer as she graduates with 2nd class upper.
The information comes out as confirmation of earlier reports that Serwaa had resigned her position at GhOne TV.
According to reports, she’s left the station in light of two years of unpaid wages.
Celebrated Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Joyce Serwaa Amihere has graduated from the law faculty of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with second class upper honours.
Ms Amihere enrolled to study law in September 2020 at the GIMPA and has today Friday 28 July 2023, completed the first half of her journey to be a lawyer. She is expected to write the Ghana School of Law entrance examination taking place on Friday 8 September 2023.
Serwaa Amihere is a news presenter and she currently works with GH One TV as the co-host of “GH Today”, the morning show on GH One TV. She is also the host Cheers, a weekend sports show.
She was born on 8 March 1990 to Frank Yeboah and Lydia Tetteh. Serwaa attended the Yaa Asantewaa Girl’s SHS and then obtained a Degree in Banking and Finance from the Methodist University College, Ghana.
She started her media career as an entertainment and lifestyle enthusiast on GH One TV’s entertainment & lifestyle show, the Glitterati then hosted Cheers, a weekend sports show.
Serwaa is one of the leading news anchors on GH One TV and the first Ghanaian to win the RTP Awards’ Best TV Newscaster of the Year 3 times in a row.
She has been the face and influencer for lots of brands both in Ghana and internationally, she is the co-founder of the corporate fashion brand, Officeandcobysa and a beauty brand Oh My Hair!
