Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Kevin Durant spotted in a Chelsea shirt at FedEx Field.
Chelsea are currently in the USA as part of their pre-season tour and are taking on Fulham in the Premier League Summer Series, with Durant in attendance.
Durant was given a new Chelsea home shirt with his name and the No 35 – which he wears for the Phoenix Suns – on the back.
Durant has an interest in football, with his investment company Thirty Five Ventures (which he founded along with business partner Rich Kleiman) having invested in MLS club Philadelphia Union in 2020. They also invested in women’s club NJ/NY Gotham FC last year.
Chelsea have already played three games in the USA, winning 5-0 against Wrexham and 4-3 against Brighton prior to drawing 1-1 with Newcastle.
