Barely a month after being signed by Romanian giants FC Steau Bucharesti, the club’s owner Gigi Becali has revealed he is running out of patience with former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana.
After moving from Chiefs, Ngezana was given the armband on his debut but the young defender made a mistake that costed his side. His coach Elias Charalambous said the defender shouldn’t be judged on one game.
Ngezana was snapped by the Romanian outfit a couple of weeks ago from Chiefs.
He did not have an immediate positive impression, especially in his first appearance for the team, but the European outfit remained positive.
However, more than six weeks after joining, Ngezana is yet to make a competitive appearance despite his team Steau Bucharesti playing in four games across all competitions.
The 25-year-old left Amakhosi end of May to join the Romanian club. In his debut, Ngezana slipped and allowed the opponent to score an equalising goal in a pre-season match. Since then, the Bafana Bafana player has struggled to find his place in the first team.
