Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Pep Guardiola is upset at Haaland despite scoring two goals during Burnley vs Manchester city game.

Man City are kind of comfortably leading Burnley 2-0 at half-time thanks to Erling Haaland’s brace.

However, Pep Guardiola doesn’t seem too happy with his striker as the pair were seen in an animated discussion.

The head coach was angrily telling something to his striker and just as a Sky Sports cameraman approached, Pep slapped the camera.

It seems like Guardiola was questioning his footballer by yelling: “What is wrong with you?” before pushing the camera away.

A lot of Guardiola’s signings have tended to take at least a year to get to grips with the Blues boss’ complex methods before truly flourishing. Jack Grealish, Bernardo Silva, Rodri and the now departed Riyad Mahrez are all such examples.

City title defence plan

Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City will be behind their rivals for a large chunk of the new Premier League season but has a plan to overtake them.

City get their third straight defence of the league title underway on Friday night as they kick the new season off with a trip to Burnley. The newly promoted Clarets will be looking to make a splash on their return to the top flight with Vincent Kompany hoping to get one over his old club.

It looks set to be one of the most competitive Premier League seasons of all time with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United all strengthening their squads considerably in the summer. In contrast, City will have to adapt to life without captain Ilkay Gundogan and reliable goal-threat Riyad Mahrez.
