A few days after his multi-million dollar move to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, the highest paid African player at the moment was spotted rocking a Senegalese made watch before the game against Al-Shorta in the Arab Club Champions Cup.

The home-made watch, designed by Gaindé collection, had symbols of Senegalese culture encrypted around it.

Despite starting the game brightly, Al-Ittihad had to wait for an hour to break the deadlock after Karim Benzema spotted Abderrazak Hamdallah in the 58th minute.

Igor Coronado scored twice in the space of four minutes as Al-Ittihad strolled to a comfortable win. One fan opined:

“My gee thought he wanted a photo.”

The Saudi Pro League’s lucrative monetary offers are one of the main reasons why players are moving to the Middle East in chunks. The recent video between Fabinho and the fan was a glimpse of the country’s tremendous wealth.
