Carly Rae Jepsen cut ties with her manager Scooter Braun

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Carly Rae Jepsen cut ties with her manager Scooter Braun.

This week, it was reported that Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande have parted ways with the manager. Other clients of his include Justin Bieber, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas and Ava Max.

Another artist to recently leave Braun was Colombian singer J Balvin, who departed Braun’s management last month to join Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation.

The aforementioned musicians are among the lists of celebrities who reportedly ended their contract with Scooter. Prior to the new report, it was said that Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato decided to part ways with him and his company.

Now, Associated Press are reporting that Jepsen has become the latest to leave Braun’s management, with no reason given for the decision.

After reports emerged of the departures, Braun shared a jokey response online. Addressing the reports, he wrote: “Breaking news… I’m no longer managing myself.”

One artist whose rep confirmed to the AP that they are still working with Braun is Ava Max. Meanwhile Billboard reports that Justin Bieber, who Braun famously discovered on YouTube, would have a difficult time disentangling himself from Braun because their contract runs through 2027. So if Bieber does want to jump ship — which he has thus far denied — doing so might be messy.
