When asked about how he feels about the strength of his Man United squad after the deal for Amrabat, Ten Hag told the press: ‘I think we have done good business.

‘We constructed a strong squad and we are ready for the fight.’

‘We told Amrabat that if he has an opportunity to leave, then we’ll let him go,’ he said.

‘If this deal cannot be done, then he has two years left on his contract and will remain.

Sofyan Amrabat only wanted Manchester United

That he wanted to live his dream this summer. With a year left on his contract, Amrabat knew that this was his opportunity. So, he waited and finally, he got his move.

Fiorentina rejected several bids from Manchester United

The signing of Sofyan Amrabat was not easy as Manchester United had to place multiple bids before they could get their man. Also, United couldn’t afford to get him on a permanent move due to the financial fair play rules. It had to be a loan move.

Fiorentina wanted a permanent move. They also had offers from several other heavyweight European clubs. But, Amrabat rejected all of them including Liverpool. So, today, Fiorentina had no other choice other than to accept the bid from United.
