90 Day Fiancé alum Pedro Jimeno reportedly filed for divorce from Chantel Everett on May 27 after their six-year marriage was ‘irretrievably broken.’
The Dominican 30-year-old also filed an emergency motion requesting the judge make the 31-year-old Atlanta native return the $257K she transferred from their joint business account into her personal account in April.
A source told TMZ on Thursday: ‘The judge denied Pedro’s request for an emergency hearing, but said the court would set a hearing for a later date to resolve the issue.’
In Touch Weekly reported on Thursday that ‘a mutual restraining order was also filed’ by the estranged couple, who’ve deleted all existence of each other from their respective Instagram accounts.
Viewers of the Jimenos’ spin-off show The Family Chantel, which currently airs Mondays on TLC, could easily see their downward spiral over the past four seasons.
He filed an emergency motion on the same day he filed for divorce claiming Chantel withdrew $257K from their joint business account just 5 days before they were separated — allegedly transferring the money to an account in her and her sister’s name.
Pedro claims he tried to resolve the issue but to no avail, so he asked the judge to make her transfer the money over to a joint account until it could be divvied up in the divorce.
