Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Real picture of butcher, Usman Buda, stoned to death in Sokoto by adult and little children over blasphemy allegation is revealed. 




The Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, has vowed that his administration will deal decisively with anyone who commits ‘blasphemy’ against the Islamic Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (PBUH).


The governor made the revelation in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Abubakar Bawa, while warning against any act capable of “degrading the personality of Prophet Muhammad SAW, especially in a state like Sokoto, which is predominantly a Muslim-dominated community.”


Sokoto State Police Command had earlier confirmed the murder of a butcher, Usman Buda, who was killed on Sunday by extremist Muslims over an alleged blasphemous comment.


A middle-aged man identified as Usman Buda was earlier today June 25 beaten to d£ath by a mob for allegedly making blasphemous comments against Prophet Muhammad.


Confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesperson of the command, ASP Ahmad Rufai, said at about 9.20am today, the police received a distress call that the d£ceased who is a Butcher, was mobbed and attacked by some Muslim faithfuls who inflicted serious injuries on him.


‘’Upon receiving the information, the Commissoner of Police, Area Commander Metro and DPO kwanni led a team of policemen and all other operational commanders to the scene. On arrival, the mob escaped the scene and left the victim unconscious where he was rescued and taken to Usmanu Danfodio Teaching Hospital Sokoto (UDUTH) for treatment and was later Confirmed d£ad at the said Hospital”


Rufai said calm has been restored to the area. He mentioned that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ali Hayatu Kaigama psc, has appealed to members of the public to go about their lawful activities and should not panic as the situation is under control.


‘’Meanwhile, Investigation is on to arrest the perpetrators and bring them to book.” he said.


The statement read, “Sokoto State Governor, Dr. Ahmed Aliyu, has called on the people of the state to remain calm and law-abiding at all times. The governor cautioned the people against any act capable of degrading the personality of Prophet Muhammad SAW, especially in a state like Sokoto, which is a predominantly Muslim-dominated community.


“Dr Aliyu said that Sokoto people have so much respect and regard for Prophet Muhammad SAW, hence the need for all the residents to respect, protect his dignity and personality.
