The Notorious Steenkamp pleaded guilty yesterday at the Johannesburg Commercial Crimes Court to 336 charges related to the theft of R537 million from Medtronic.
Steenkamp was living large with her dubious boyfriend, benefiting from proceeds of criminal activities. She bought him expensive cars, apartments & everything in between, as per norm the Land thieves saw nothing wrong with that.
The publication adds that Hildegard Steenkamp pleaded guilty to 336 charges related to stealing R537 million from her for employer Medtronic (Pty) Ltd for over 13 years.
The former Boksburg accountant pleaded guilty in the Johannesburg Commercial Crimes Court sitting in Palm Ridge.
“Steenkamp created several business enterprises to justify her lifestyle. Her husband and son were initially charged as well, but the charges were dropped because there was not enough evidence against them”, adds the publication.
The matter was postponed to 14 and 16 August for sentencing proceedings.
