Drake sampled Kim Kardashian’s voice discussing her divorce with Kanye West on his new single ‘Search & Rescue’

Is the feud between Drake and Kanye West back on?

Over the weekend, the rapper's unreleased song, believed to be titled "Rescue Me," played on Sound 42's The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM Radio.

On the track, he sampled audio of Kim Kardashian discussing her divorce from West (which was finalized in November of last year) in the 2021 series finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, leading fans to believe he is taking aim at the "Flashing Lights" rapper, 45.

While the Take Care rapper, 36, has yet to make any comments about the song's release, producer BNYX confirmed he's behind the beat for the single on Instagram.

"I remember when I used to add the Drake acapellas to my beats to see if they was hard. Now look," he wrote.

Feuding between the two rappers is nothing new as they've often dissed each other through their music and on social media in the past.

Most recently, however, Drake reignited the tiff by dissing West in his verse on Trippie Redd's "Betrayal" in August 2021.

Kardashian’s voice can be heard midway through the snippet saying, “I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy,” when speaking about her then-impending divorce from Kanye West with her mom, Kris Jenner, on an episode of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ from 2021.

Drake has been in an ongoing feud with West since at least 2018 when rumors began that Kardashian had cheated on West with him.

The lyrics for ‘Rescue Me’ appear to be about Drake’s desire to settle down with a woman who loves him, rather than his fame or money.

“I need someone to be patient with me/Someone to get money, would not take it from me,” he raps.

“Come and rescue me/Take me out the club, take me out the trap/Take me off the market, take me off the map/I’m tryna hit the group chat and tell ‘em.”

Drake and West have famously been feuding for a few years now, with the two seemingly becoming friendly before fighting again. The rappers began collaborating at the beginning of Drake’s career in 2007 on his third EP ‘So Far Gone’.

Then in 2010, West cut out a Drake verse from his song ‘All of the Lights’, although Drake confirmed he was okay with this decision, saying: “Kanye’s creative process is ever-changing.”

The real drama began when fans began speculating that Drake’s 2018 song ‘In My Feelings’ was about West’s then-wife, Kim Kardashian.
