Pearl Shongwe has died, The 35 year old Metro FM and Daily Thetha anchor was found dead by neighbours who alerted the police.
She was found lying dead alone in her home on her bed face down (cause of death).
No injuries were found.
Taking to social media, The EFF, penned a painful tribute to her. Its statement reads:
“The EFF sends its condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Metro FM News Reader Pearl Shongwe.
“When death visits, it is never pleasant for anyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Shongwe family.
“May they be comforted and may her soul rest in peace.”
