Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Company that is producing Makhadzi’s sneaker range Kokovha will hold a charity event on 29 October to raise funds and celebrate the life of Vusi Thanda.
Kicks Sportswear will also be celebrating a two-year milestone and launching their latest footwear range ChampionX. The brand founder Sammy Mhaule told IOL entertainment that during the event, Kokovha sneakers will be for sale and proceeds will go to Vusi.
“We also had a lot of sneakers in our warehouse from our previous Kokovha range and we’ll be using this event to make them accessible to the public with the proceeds from the sales going towards Bab Vusi Thanda.”
The event, which is set to take place at Mall Africa, will be supported by some of SA’s biggest stars with performances by Brian Themba, comedian Mashabela Galene, celebrated praise singer Jessica Mbangeni, DJ Sbu, among others.
The legendary actor touched many South Africans when he recently opened up about needing donations after being rocked by financial woes. He pleaded with Mzansi to help raise funds so he can pay his R45 000 debt that he owes his landlord.
