TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa spoke about the viral action of a soldier kicking a fan at the Kanjuruhan Stadium , Malang, East Java. Andika ensured that this was not an act of self-defense.
“Oh yes (not the SOP). What seemed viral yesterday was not in self-defense or for example, no,” said Andika at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Central Jakarta, Monday (3/10/2022).
Andika said that the actions taken by his soldiers were a form of crime that clearly should not be carried out by TNI soldiers.
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhajir Effendy said the total number of victims of the Kanjuruhan tragedy was 488 people. This number is the accumulated data of the dead and injured.
“The final results of the victims that have been verified by all parties including the Police and the organizers are 448 victims,” said Muhadjir after holding a coordination meeting at the Panji Hall, Kepanjen, Malang, reported by detikJatim , Monday (3/10/2022).
