Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that P. Diddy meets Tyler The Creator as he dresses as Heath Ledger’s The Joker For Halloween.
After winning an Academy Award for playing the titular role in Joker, Joaquin Phoenix is officially set to return for Joker: Folie A Deux. Lady Gaga is confirmed to star alongside Phoenix as Harley Quinn, and the movie will also feature big names such as Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Harry Lawtey as well as the return of Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond. Todd Phillips back at the helm, directing a script from Scott Silver.
“When I pitched them Joker, it wasn’t a movie, it was, ‘let’s do a whole label,'” Phillips said in 2019. “They shut that down quickly and I get it. Who am I to walk in and start a label at a film studio? But they said, let’s do this one.”
He added, “Here’s the real truth about a sequel. While Joaquin and I have talked about it, and while touring the world with Warner Bros executives — going to Toronto, and Venice, and other places — of course, we’re sitting at dinner and they’re saying, ‘So, have you thought about…?’ But, talking about contracts, there’s not a contract for us to even write a sequel, we’ve never approached Joaquin to be in a sequel. Will that happen? Again, I just think the article was anticipatory at best.”
Every Halloween, Diddy always comes through with a unique costume, and for this spooky season, the rap mogul has outdone himself. The Bad Boy Records mogul dressed up as Heath Ledger’s Joker, and he nailed it.
On Saturday (Oct. 29), Diddy hopped on his Instagram account and posted several photos and videos of himself dressed up as Heath Ledger’s Joker in the 2008 film The Dark Knight. The billionaire music executive did a phenomenal job recreating the late actor’s Oscar-winning portrayal of Joker—from the makeup, to the clothing to even mimicking the comic villain’s diabolical personality.
In one video, Diddy, as Joker, is in a warehouse holding a fake machine gun when he starts jumping up and down, a fake grenade falls out of his ammunition belt. Diddy looks down and then laughs hysterically. He captioned the video, “Hello my friends, I’m the Joker. I’m highjacking Halloween! Hahahaha,” along with a joker card, middle finger and pumpkin emojis.
In the second clip, Diddy is standing in the middle of the street and stops a vehicle. He walks up to the car and in the passenger seat is none other than Tyler, The Creator. “Tyler, The Creator,” he says while delivering a sinister laugh. “Tyler, The Creator, you’re my favorite rapper in the world.” The Odd Future leader is laughing and is also impressed by Diddy’s costume. “This is top tier,” he said. After exchanging pleasantries, Diddy turns the table on Tyler and tries to carjack him before he drives off.
In the third clip, Diddy is on a street corner and he walks towards the camera to inform the viewers that he’s going to club Love to dance and celebrate. The rap mogul then delivers Joker’s classic line in The Dark Knight: “Why so serious?”
Having wowed as Princess Jasmine, Elle Woods and even the Tiger King in years gone by, Kim, 42, switched it up a little and underwent a full-on transformation to become Mystique aka Raven from the comic book franchise.
On Saturday night, the Kardashians star revealed her incredible costume complete with blue paint, prosthetic bumps, yellow contact lenses and a slicked back red hairdo much like the movie character.
Stumbling up to Kim in the street in full costume, including the Joker’s famous purple suit and shaggy green hair, Diddy, 52, said rather menacingly: ‘You smell like Kim Kardashian,’ after sniffing the star and bursting into spontaneous laughter.
After flashing a joker playing card, Diddy then asked: ‘Would you like to come play?’ before letting out another terrifying laugh.
Kim seemed pretty impressed by his performance as the serial killing clown and was heard laughing at the end of the clip while stating: ‘Dead.’
