JoJo Siwa — who came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community on social media in January 2021 — is opening up more about how she knew she was gay. While doing a cute Story Time segment on her TikTok, the 19-year-old rapped along to a beat. (Read More Here).
She titled the video, “My gay awakening story time.” She went on to explain that she began to realize her sexuality after listening to Demi Lovato’s “Cool For The Summer,” which has arguably been called “the next great gay anthem.” Siwa then said she would also religiously watch Jenna Dewan’s performance on ‘Lip Since Battle.’
On the hit show, Dewan imitated her (now soon-to-be ex) husband Channing Tatum’s infamous ‘Magic Mike XXL’ scene, where he erotically danced to Ginuwine’s “Pony.” Dewan ended up posting a duet on her own TikTok in response, claiming she was “honored.” But before that, Siwa ended her quick rap video by noting she also knew she wasn’t into men after one tried to smash her!
