Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that A Texas police officer who shot and wounded a 17-year-old sitting in his car eating a hamburger has been fired.
Brian Powers, the lawyer for Erik Cantu’s family shared with tmz that the teen has gone through multiple surgeries to repair major organs that were injured. Powers explained that the family is extremely thankful for all the support they have been getting so far and asks everyone to continue praying for their son.
As we previously reported, the police officer was fired after bodycam footage showed the officer opening the driver’s door and ordering the teen to get out of the car. Once the door was open you can see the teen eating a sandwich and he began to put the car in reverse, and within seconds the officer fired off multiple shots into the car at point-blank range.
