Singer Harrysong was detained at the Lagos state police command headquarters last night as police continue their investigation into allegations of character defamation and threat to life leveled against him by music executive Soso Soberekon. (Read More Here).
LIB had earlier reported that the singer was picked up from the airport on Tuesday morning as he arrived in Nigeria. He was taken to the airport command office before he was transferred to the state command’s headquarters in Ikeja.
Soso Soberekon had petitioned the Inspector General of Police after Harrysong granted an interview where he alleged that he (Sososberekon) sent some persons to kill him in Port Harcourt.
Police sources told LIB that Harrysong is still in police custody as an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
