Two Arkansas police officers who violently arrested 27-year-old Randal Worcester in a disturbing manner over the summer have been fired. (Read More Here).
Back in August, Randal was hospitalized with multiple injuries after being detained outside a gas station in the city of Mulberry for allegedly threatening a retail clerk.
Linda Philips, who is the administrative assistant for the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed on Friday that Zack King and Levi White have both been terminated from their position, adding that they were actually fired one to two weeks ago, though she did not know the specific date. In the video that’s been widely shared on social media, one of the officers is seen punching and kneeing Worcester in the head, who they later accused of spitting on them, which supposedly led to the aggressive arrest.
One of the cops is then seen holding Worcester down while another grabs his hair and slams him against the pavement. The third officer involved in the arrest, Mulberry Police Officer Thell Riddle, according to the Associated Press, currently remains on administrative leave.
