Born and raised in Hope Township, Michigan, Lee excelled in powerlifting before eventually joining the sixth season of WWE's "Tough Enough." Lee went on to win the fan vote for "Tough Enough" and serve as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world.

Lee is survived by her husband Cory James Weston who performed on WWE under the name Wesley Blake, and their daughter Piper, 5, and two sons Brady, 3, and Case Oliver, 14 months.
Lee rose to fame on the sixth and final season of Tough Enough, a reality television show where aspiring men and women wrestlers compete for a one-year, $250,000 WWE contract.
"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our Sarah Weston has gone to be with Jesus," she wrote. "We are all in shock."
Lee, from the US state of Michigan, was awarded a $250,000 contract after her winning appearance on Tough Enough, but was released the following year.
She was married to former WWE wrestler Cory James Weston, known as Westin Blake.
Wrestling star Saraya, formerly known as Paige, was among those to pay tribute to Sara, describing her as a "very sweet human who I got the pleasure to know and work with".
She had been a competitive powerlifter and was married to former WWE wrestler Cory James Weston, known as Wesley Blake, and they had three children. It is not known how she died.
Her mother, Terri Lee, announced her death in a statement on Facebook: "It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus.
"We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers especially Cory and her children."
The day before she died she had posted on Instagram that she was celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym two days in a row. "First ever sinus infection kicked my butt," she said.
In a statement WWE said: "As a former Tough Enough winner, Lee served as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans."
Terri did not share Sara's cause of death.
The late athlete's Instagram bio states that she is wife to Cory James Weston (who goes by the ring name Westin Blake), a mother of three children and a proud dog mom.
After winning season 6 of the Tough Enough competition series, Sara garnered a one-year contract with WWE and was an NXT wrestler. The ex-grappler was married to fellow former WWE star Westin Blake, real name Cory Weston, and had two children with him.
Lee shot to fame in the 2015-16 season of the reality TV show Tough Enough.
Participants had to partake in professional wrestling training and compete for a contract with WWE, which went to the winner of the show.
After she won and received the contract from WWE chief Triple H, she joined WWE’s developmental brand NXT and she worked a number of live events.
However, she was released by the company just months later. But Sara and her husband were celebrating in December 2017 as they tied the knot.
Earlier that year she had given birth to their first child, a baby daughter, in May.
